| | | |
 | On Friday, October 12, 2007, the Tennessee Chapter of American College of Physicians presented the prestigious Laureate Award to Dr. Fred Ralston, Jr. of Fayetteville at a luncheon in Chattanooga.
Ralston was honored for: excellence in practice, service to his community, inspirational leadership, and service to his state and nation through the American College of Physicians. Laureate Awardees are senior physicians and Fellows or Masters of the College of longstanding duration with asknowledged excellence and peer approval in the field of internal medicine.
"This honor, coming from the Tennessee Chapter of the American College of Physicians that I hold so dear, represents the high point of my professional career", states Ralston. "I am humbled when I think of the past recipients of the Laureate Award who have been wonderful role models for aspiring internists and true leaders in Tennessee medicine. I shall tread lightly in those deep footprints."
Ralston practices general internal medicine at Fayetteville Medical Associates. He is married to Farris Lynch Ralston and they have twin teenage sons, Will and Jim. |
