| Taylor Cook Named Interim CEO at Lincoln County Health System |
| | | |
 | Taylor Cook has been named Interim CEO of Lincoln County Health System, beginning August 11, 2008.
Cook is a native of Hickman County, Tennessee. He retired from QHR, the health system’s management company, after 30 years of service. During that time he held a variety of positions such as Controller, CEO and Multi-Facility Manager for QHR managed facilities.
QHR, the hospital’s management services provider, will conduct a national search for a permanent CEO for Lincoln County Health System. The hospital board will be closely involved to find the best candidate for this hospital and community. There is no current time frame for the search to be completed. Clayton Wilson, Chairman, Lincoln County Health System Board of Trustees, explained, “QHR’s management services provides interim resources to minimize disruption within the hospital while allowing the board time to choose a CEO that can meet our needs. We are honored to have Taylor to work with until the position is filled.”
Cook earned his BS degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee and his Certification in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
“I have been involved with Lincoln County Health System for over 20 years”, states Cook. “It has been a pleasure to see the changes and growth for this health system, and I look forward to serving as CEO during this interim phase.”
Cook is an Angel Flight Pilot. Angel Flight is a service that transports patients who don’t have the means to travel to their needed healthcare providers. He enjoys hunting and fishing, but states that his two grandsons are his biggest time consumer. |
