Nursing Staff

Our nursing staff of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and assistants will be your constant companions throughout your hospital stay. They have a reputation for attentiveness to patients that larger facilities sometimes lack. Upon your arrival they will provide information that will be helpful to you during your stay.



Feel free to call upon them at any time by using the call button on your bed. They are available to you 24 hours a day.

Medical Records

The Medical Records Department is responsible for maintaining an accurate and complete record of your hospital stay.

If you are a new parent, someone from the medical records department will visit you to fill out your newborn's birth certificate.

Social Services

The Hospital social services worker is available at no cost the patient to assist any patient with discharge planning needs and to provide information about community resources. The social worker also serves as the patient representative. Please feel free to contact the Social Service department at extension 1299.

Performance Improvement

The Performance Improvement department conducts ongoing reviews of medical records to assess the quality of care our patients receive.

This department was developed to assure our patients the very best care possible. Each hospital department monitors the services it performs. When a problem is detected, action is taken.

Physicians Referral Service

Lincoln Medical Center offers a free physician referral service. A representative will provide you with information to help you choose the right doctor for you and your family. This service is available Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. by calling 438-WELL (438-9355).

Infection Control

Infection Control works to monitor and prevent the occurrence of infections in the hospital environment. It monitors employee illnesses, infections present or developing in patients, and environmental cultures and keeps employees informed of the latest techniques for controlling infections.

Environmental Services

Environmental Services is responsible for providing you with a clean and comfortable room upon your arrival and throughout your stay. When you are admitted to your room, you will find a card telling you who cleaned and prepared your room for you. Each room is equipped with individual air conditioning and heating units. Please adjust the controls to your liking or ask for assistance in making the room temperature suit your preferences.

Security

To ensure your personnel safety, security guards patrol the hospital building. They may be reached, if necessary, through the switchboard by dialing 0.
