| |  The team of doctors and nurses in our maternity center is proud to provide you with excellent care during this special time in your life. Our family centered maternity center has beautifully decorated birthing rooms. Labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum all take place in the same room. We encourage the father or support person to be with you throughout your stay.
We do our best to treat you like family - to make you as comfortable as possible.
Childbirth classes are offered every other month on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The cost is $30 per couple for the four day sessions each month. This four week class prepares parents on what to expect regarding the different stages of labor and delivery, pain management, breathing exercises, postpartum concerns, bottle/breast feeding, and parenting tips. A Certified Lactation Consultant will also be a part of one session each month.
Because education helps you to be more prepared for the amazing experiences transitioning through pregnancy to parenthood, Lincoln Medical Center offers childbirth educational classes designed to help women get the information they need. These classes are taught by experienced Labor and Delivery Health Care Professionals. Class sizes are small to increase the personalized attention you will receive. Please call the OB Department at 931.438.1201 to sign up today. We will need your name, phone number, your physician's name and your due date.
Epidural classes are also held the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Medical Center Education Classroom.
