| LINCOLN COUNTY HEALTH SYSTEM RECEIVES CHEST PAIN ACCREDITATION
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 30, 2008) – Lincoln County Health System in Fayetteville, Tenn. received its Chest Pain Accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain, officials with the hospital and Saint Thomas Chest Pain Network announced today.
The accreditation marks the 12th accredited center in the Saint Thomas Chest Pain Network. Lincoln County Health System is the only Chest Pain accredited hospital in Lincoln County.

The Society of Chest Pain accredits centers based upon a variety of rigorous criteria, including clinical outcome statistics and comparisons nationwide. The criteria are based on a set of protocols that provide proven direction for effective heart care.
These standards and protocols are the guiding principles for care at each Saint Thomas Chest Pain Center Network hospital. The following centers make up the Saint Thomas Chest Pain Network and have achieved the highest level of Society of Chest Pain accreditation:
