Lincoln Medical Center's very own Jacob Painter was chosen as the 2009 Lincoln County Idol winner August 22nd, 2009. His rockin rendition of Johnny B Good drove the crowd wild!!
Jacob won $300 and will open for Randy Houser and Keith Anderson at the Lincoln County Fair September 12th.

The final 15 contestants were; Odessa Dangerfield, Aletha Shirley, Heather Britton, Holly Helms, Jacob Painter, Jaclyn Stapler, Kristi Caves-Bartlett, Tanesha Ashby, Alexis Fox, Chase Stewart, Dwight Sexton, Lee Gibson, Tracy Taylor, Hannah Thomas, and Rebecca Fulkerson. The talent was excellent again this year and the singers performed in front of about 900 people at Ninth Grade Academy.

The proceeds from ticket sales, t shirt sales, concessions, DVD sales and sponsorships will all go to benefit the Chest Pain Center at Lincoln Medical Center.
