Lincoln County Health System is proud to announce the promotion of Vickie D. Hopkins to the position of Director of Nursing for Lincoln Care Center. "We are so pleased that Vickie has accepted the Director of Nursing role at Lincoln Care Center." states Vicky Groce, Chief Nursing Officer Lincoln County Health System. "Vickie has a proven track record of providing excellent patient care and is a good example of the type of person we want as part of our team." says Vicky Groce. Vickie Hopkins  will be an asset to the facility as she brings with her 28 years of nursing experience. Vickie currently works in the Emergency Department at Lincoln Medical Center but served as Assistant Director of Nursing at Donalson Care Center where she worked for 8 years. Vickie graduated from the Tennessee Vocational School in 1981 as an LPN. While practicing nursing, she attended Columbia State in 1991 where she graduated with her RN degree.
 
Vickie was born and raised in Fayetteville but currently resides in Lynchburg with her husband, John M. Hopkins. Vickie is the daughter of Sarah Francis David and the late William F. Davis of Fayetteville. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, gardening, and spending time with family. Vickie is excited  about her transition to the Director of Nursing position at Lincoln Care Center and looks forward to making a difference for the residents and staff who work there.
