Baby New Year
Fayetteville and Lincoln County’s first baby of the year has arrived. At 12:37am on Friday, January 1, Makayleigh Ryan Peel was born in Lincoln Medical Center’s Family Birthplace to Tessa Peel. The infant weighed 7lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 inches in length. A special honor is also held by the first baby of the year as she is the county’s Bicentennial Baby, commemorating our 200th year. A special gift basket made by the Ivy Wreath in Fayetteville was given to the happy family from Lincoln Medical Center. The basket included some very special items one of which was an embroidered bicentennial blanket. Brooks and Debra Hare of Fayetteville also donated a Build a Bear Tennessee teddy to the new baby. Dr. Mark Plunkett was the delivering physician. |
